Works fine for me with two shuffles and an iPod mini.  There was a time 
(pre-version 1.4) when it did not do as good a job as gtkpod, but since 
switching to a different backend library, it works very well, even does a 
nice fsck and repair when necessary.  Will not work with Mac formatted iPods, 
though.
