Upgrading from Edgy to Feisty

I've now managed to get mine working. Here's what I did:
1) Booted into the 7.04 live disc
2) Mounted the partition that contained Kubuntu (in my case /dev/hdc5 and
/mnt/hdc5).
3) chroot into the location of Kubuntu on your harddrive chroot /mnt/hdc5
4) apt-get dist-upgrade which told me to do dpkg --configure -a
5) did apt-get dist-upgrade again
6) rebooted the computer - this got as far as booting and giving me the
command line
7) ran apt-get dist-upgrade again
8) rebooted the computer - this finally gave me the desktop and so far
everything seems ok.
