Larry,
I am not familiar with CourseCompass, but have you heard of VMWare Player?
VMWare Player allows you to run the Windows operating system while still
inside of Linux (no rebooting necessary). The only thing needed is the
Windows operating system install CD or a working installation of Windows
(this requires using VMWare Converter).
