Hi,
It´s me, Tony.
New e-mail address.
I moved my office (and home, since I work at home) to New Haven, CT.
Switched back to Comcast (optonline not available, here, which is cool,
because, I like comcast).
So, my e-mail address changed (I have others that have not changed, but,
I generally use my ISP
e-mail for mailing lists not related to my work...For the work stuff, of
course, I use my work/business mail
on my domain, baldwinlinguas.com).

I did some cool stuff today (and pulled out a few hairs).
I just got a ¨new¨ computer. I´ve been using a PIII 1gb frankenstein
that I slopped together from
parts for about 5 years, but just got a Celeron 3.2gb refurb e-Machines
with windopes XP media.
So, I ripped the HDD right outta this new fella, and slapped it into the
old PIII 1gb,
and popped my ¨old¨ HDD (which I had just bought in November) into the
¨new¨ machine.
Both HDDs are the same size (120 gb).
Then, popped in the Kubu disk, spilt that new HDD in half, and installed
Kubuntu on the ¨new¨ HDD in the old machine, as a dual boot.
It is advantageous in my field to have access to windows some times, so
I didn´t wipe it off,
as my first impulse would be (plus, some games for my daughter, and
stuff)...so, the old machine is a dual boot-XP/Kubuntu, and my old comfy
Kubuntu install is now on the newer faster machine.
I had to rewrite the grub/menu.lst after the install though.
Why doesn´t Kubu offer to configure kubu for dual boot on install?

Anyway...new e-mail address...same annoying guy.

Thanks for everything...

tony
