OOo packages RPMs so that they install in /opt, so there is no need to fiddle
or worry about interfering with the /usr branch.

1. Download and extract the tarball from OOo.
2. In the desktop_integration subdirectory of the extracted tarball, delete
all but the debian .deb menu package.
3. in the top level directory of the extracted tarball execute the command
	sudo alien -kc *.deb
The -k switch tells alien to --keep the version numbering of the RPM.
The -c switch tells alien to include any --scripts that are in the RPMs.
This procedure takes about 45 minutes.
4. Move the menu deb from the desktop integration subdirectoy into the
directory where all of you debs now are.
5. Remove all of the RPMs
6. To install execute
	sudo dpkg -i --force-overwite *.deb
--force-overwrite is necessary because some files are included in multiple
packages.

If you previously installed 2.0 or 2.1 in /opt, these debs will replace them
and rename the directory /opt/openoffice.org2.2
