Bingo.

Then visudo and comment out the line giving sudo to people in the admin group, 
or take your son out of the admin group.

You could do what the others are suggesting too, of course, and have more than 
one user account on the box, etc.  I've done it both ways on Kubuntu boxes, 
and am currently just going with the flow (no usable root account) because 
it's the lazy thing to do.
