Unstable OpenOffice

Hang on - it just froze with openoffice dialogs turned on.  It does this at 
random!  Can't predict just when the stop will occur.  The mouse cursor will 
move but the rest of the system is frozen.  No keyboard and a push of the 
reboot button is required.
