So I have checked the logs and I think that the problem is caused by
fglrx driver...
When I change it to ati, I get clean logouts. I also get clean reboots
if I log into some console and type sudo reboot...
Below you will find the fglrx related log at the time of logout from
/var/log/messages. - maybe it will be useful for someone working on fglrx...
QUESTION: how do I get the 3D acceleration back once I use ati driver
instead of fglrx? It is not working now, though it should be available
on Radeon 9200 with the standard ati driver.
