Logitech drivers wiped out by Dapper Drake Adept-update

On Monday, I did the usual Adept-Update.  Then, all hell broke loose!  My 
screen froze and my wireless logitech mouse and keyboard stopped working.  I 
had to run and buy a cheap-o keyboard and mouse, but the monitor didn't work 
until the following day when Adept-Update must have fixed the driver 
problem...  But, my wireless logitech mouse and keyboard still won't install 
or work.  There doesn't seem to be any Dapper drake plug and play drivers for 
it, and the ones I had have been wiped out.  Please help!  I'm a novice and 
really liked Kubuntu and simply hate the cheap-o keyboard and mouse it's left 
me with...
