Deleting earlier Kernel Versions

Good morning Donatas and Thilo!

Thank you for your help.

I removed the old kernel versions using the package manager which also 
removed the related entries from Grub's menu.lst.

To make sure that the default OS is Windows (for my wife) I did the 
following

a.  Removed the 'SavedDefault' line from the kernel entry
b.  Added a 'SavedDefault' line to the XP entry
c. Changed the global 'Default #' line to 'Default Saved'

This works great
