Getting back Kubuntu after installing Windows

Pablo is right, the windows installer doesn't know or care about other
OS's. It may or may not have repartitioned your hard drive and removed
everything else. Boot from a live CD. (I use Knoppix, the Kubuntu live
stuff has never worked for me.) Make sure Kubuntu is still there. If
it is, you can restore grub from there. Like Pablo, I recommend that
you read 'man grub' when you boot from the live CD.
