Getting back Kubuntu after installing Windows

This is because the Windows installer flushed the MBR of your harddisk.
Grun is in your MBR(Master Boot Record).
You can reboot with a live cd, for example the ubunut live cd o
knoppix and run grub from a console, use the next command into grub:
root (hd0,1)
setuo (hdo)
I am guessing that windos is in hda1 and kubuntu in hda2.
