hey all,
i've posted about this before and never got a reply.
here's the situation. usually my ibook (running Kubuntu) boots fine if
there's a wireless network available. if not - the boot stops before the
kde log in screen and goes no further.
so i thought maybe it was the networking issue. so i stopped the
wireless network from coming up at boot. no dice. it still halts at
boot. only now - it stops in the same place regardless if there's a
wireless network or not.
so now i can't seem to get my ibook to finish the boot process.
anyone hear of this problem before and know how to deal with it?
thanks all.
