DNS addresses corrupting.

It does - that's exactly why you modify the dhclient.conf file, so that
those addresses get written first.  

However, the dhcp server shouldn't be writing its own address in there
unless that machine is actually _running_ a DNS server - that looks like an
error in the gateway configuration.
