DNS addresses corrupting.

It is.  That's why you need to change the dhclient.conf

I found out the hard way.  Pain in the butt when your router does that.  
My router is supposed to forward the DNS requests, and does, but there's 
about a four second delay.  By modifying the dhclient.conf, all DNS 
requests are instant.

I suppose that's what I get for buying a cheap router.  At least it 
works fine now.
