I have what might be a related question.

Old setup.
  Internet:
    DSL modem > Kubuntu via eth1 > IP Masq > eth0 > hub > other computers on
lan using the lan address of the Kubuntu machine as the default gateway.
  LAN:
    eth0 > hub

Current setup:
  Internet:
Combo DSL modem/router/hub > each computer on LAN using IP of router as
    default gateway. Coming into eth1.
  LAN:
    Combo DSL modem/router/hub/DHCP server > eth1 (using router's DHCP
    assigned address on 192.168.1.x
      and
    eth0 > hub using /etc/hosts on 192.168.0.x

It seems under the current setup that LAN traffic is going through the hub and
not the combo device.

Suggestions for fixing or tuning this?
