Voice Dictation

I have a friend who is currently using Naturally Speaking for voice dictation, 
and commands, due to some physical limitations. 
The problem is that his Windows install keeps getting fouled up (thinking a 
boot virus or something, or maybe just windows).  
I would love to convert him to Linux (Kubuntu in particular) however, I know 
of no voice type dictation, or command software for Linux.

Does anyone here know of anything?  (IBM no longer supports or develops 
ViaVoice on Linux).
