There are two ways to do this.

1. make links to commands in your ~/.kde/Autostart/ directory
2. get apps that you want running each time you start and save the session.  
KDE will load that session everytime you start.  (By default, Kubuntu saves 
the current session every time you exit.  You have to disable this in 
kcontrol to explicitly save sessions.)
