Sorry for the mistake, i missed the apt-get update!
-change breezy to dapper in sources.list
-(sudo) apt-get upgrade
-(sudo) apt-get dist-upgrade

Sorry, i don't know. Why do you want to use root user in X? Use the
regular users + sudo :)
