Yeah, that's the one.

I think I'll try Andy's suggestion first, to install xscreensavers. If
that doesn't work I'll try the link above.

Strange, that they all refer to the screensaver problem, not to the power
saving problem. Anyway, I hope it'll work. I'll post the result here after
trying it out...
