I NEED HELP

I had some problems with KDE + sound, both in Debian/etch and Kubuntu/Dapper.
I solved them by changing the setting in control panel:
<Sounds and Multimedia> <Hardware> <Select Audio Device> --> Choose "Advanced 
Linux Sound Architecture"
