how to disable media:/ feature?

I really think this is a potential problem. media:/ is definitely _not_
intended to work with fstab. Anything that's in fstab shouldn't be
using /media as a mountpoint - that's for pmount.

That sounds to me like it's caused by the fstab entry - note that you _have_
told it you want a read-only filesystem.

Which probably used media: and the media kio slave.

I think, if anything, it's a documentation error. The process works fine
for me. The number one problem I see is people wanting automounting but
putting entries into fstab.
