knet [was Kubuntu and ADSL?]

I have tried knet, but it did not work for me. I already had my dsl
configured via pppoeconf, and it worked fine. When I dropped that
connection and tried to reconnect via knet, it did not work, though I
entered the same data that helped to set it up via pppoeconf.

Now, I cannot tell why, and it could have been some mistake of mine, but
I quit at that.
