Kudos to developer Robby Stephenson, and breezy packager Regis Boudin.
Quick response and a new 3.5.1 compatible deb.
To compile, you need two packages: libyaz-dev & kdemultimedia-dev.
And finally, when I got the error message (during compilation)...

The problem is due to a packaging bug in kdepim. The file is in kdepim-dev where it should be in libkcal2-dev. Regis filed a bug in the Debian BTS weeks ago, but no one seemed to care :(
Last, the new repository for tellico is
deb http://www.imalip.info/tellico breezy-backports main
