(K)ubuntu and SCSI drive only machine

Yep. I have Kubuntu on my adaptec SCSI card. I still can't get grub to
select IDE for Windows and SCSI for linux but that's another story (I have
to use the BIOs to select at the moment)
Remember, it's not the distro that counts for hardware, it's the kernel.
