I have 3.5.1, as 3.5.0 was never officially available for powerpc.
As for konqueror, yes I have the preloader daemon on, I have just noticed, 
even though it was off in my previous kde 3.4. I never understood why user 
preferences are modified at all when upgrading the kde.

Thanks for the thoughts though.
