Q: Making Konq file manager view format sticky

A dead simple question:
  when I am using Konq as a file manager, most of the time it displays
directories in "Detailed List View" mode, which is what I want. Every
now and then, though, I navigate to a directory and it shows icons
instead. How do I tell Konq that I want it *always* to display
directories in "Detailed List View
 mode?

(KDE 3.5.5 on dapper 64-bit)
