Right.  That didn't come out as intended. I wanted to say that kmail had its 
share of annoyances, not that the OE bug was a kmail annoyance.  

The part about the OE bug was just a response to "kmail always gets it right, 
no matter what the recipient is using."

Rarely, but sometimes, HTML mail is appropriate.  I'd like to use tables and 
in line images occasionally.  Kmail won't do this.  I think kgpg support in 
kmail is inferior to enigmail support in Thunderbird.  There are other things 
I liked better about Thunderbird.  However, kmail has better spam filtering 
and its integration into kontact both seal it for me.  I like synching my 
contacts via kpilot with my Palm OS phone then using the contact info for 
kmail and OpenOffice.  Nothing is perfect.  You compromise.
