network configuration in vmware player

Hi,
I'm trying to use vmware player. Now I can install
another OS(Windows) as a virtual machine. The problem
is I can't use the internet on the virtual machine. My
network is a LAN but it is restricted. I would like to
have the same IP and MAC in the virtual machine as in
the host machine. However, this is not my case. How
should I configure it to have the same IP and MAC?
