Konqueror problem with Kubuntu 6.10

I hope so it (the "feature")  is almost a deal breaker for me. I ain't geeky 
enough for some ...but don't insult my intelligence  by crippling my system 
to protect me from my self. If this is part of the Kubuntu philosophy  I'm 
afraid that it is doomed [hell you might as well be using Lindows]
