Mounting of USB devices broken in Dapper? - SOLVED

Thanks all, that did it for me too. 

Something interesting, it doesn't work entirely with beryl.  It does pop 
up the dialog asking what I want to do.  It will then open a konqueror 
window.  It also shows the device in /media.  It won't show the icon on 
the desktop.   It works perfectly with kwin.  Much improved over the 
18.2 version.
