Kubuntu for Windows users - alternate install

Thanks, I need to know for some people who are unfamiliar with Linux and 
multi-booting. I used the alternate CD myself to install Kubuntu because it 
sounded like only that method gave the option to set up multi-booting.

If the desktop CD offers both a live version and can install itself to 
co-exist with Windows, then that's great.
