ipod again

looks like getting my ipod mounted in read/write mode isn't going to
happen. i've tried hpmount and mount -t hfsplus. both will mount but
only in read mode. that's great if i want to just get songs from the
ipod. but i obviously need to put songs onto the unit.

so i guess i'll have to keep OS X until I come across a way to get this
mounted read/write. either that or i break down and reformat. argh!
