I've got
dapper-install-i386.iso (d0aac62d385430db8c78d28227ddcabe)
from
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/kubuntu/releases/dapper/flight-6/
The CD is ignored during boot. (The flight 5 amd64 version CD
boots OK.)
I wound up trying it with 2 CDs. Since I couldn't verify the first CD
with "readcd" or "dd" on kubuntu (DD fl5) or mandriva, I went back to
FreeBSD 5.4 and burnt a CD and then verified both it and the one made
on Linux (both made with "cdrecord"). I checked the md5sum as above
and did a full "diff".
Also, the "jigdo" download scheme is apparently not ready for prime
time. It DL'd a whole CD worth of stuff, but complained about missing
files, etc., and the ISO (?) file didn't have the correct md5sum or
even the correct size. So I started over got the ISO with http.
