How use akregator in kubuntu

 Hi everybody: 

I'm new on linux and recently installed kubuntu a couple of days ago. 
I try to run akregator but it's impossible. I type its name in run command 
menu, its icon appears and nothing happens. Can anybody help me to use it or 
give me an url (i've tried at google and i can't find help). Thanks in
