yep, sure. I only change /etc/postfix/main.cf ( attached ),
the rest is plain ubuntu's postfix.

This may not work for some recipients as the servers may
think the originator is fake. It has, however, always
worked for me.

Note that I have a dyndns ( dyndns.org ) host configured
and the dyndns client ( ddclient ) installed so it will change
the ip of the host name on ip change.
My current ISP rarely changes my ip, but some others
change it in a regular basis. Most ISPs will reject the
mail if you have a non-resolvable name.

There are some subnets owned by ISPs and used
for dialup or DSL, etc, that are blacklisted by - for
example - Hotmail as they are known spam
sources. We, as a small southamerican country,
apparently haven't produced enough spam to
be banned yet :-D

Of course you should have port 25 open and if the
postfix server runs in a machine that is not the firewall,
you should forward the port to that host
( the one that runs postfix, that is ).

Here is a transcription of a test mail's headers. Notice
that my dynamic domain name is the source of the mail
and a return-path header is added.
