knode configuration help

I am trying to configure my SMTP server in knode.  My server requires simple
username/password authentication, but there doesn't seem to be anywhere to
set it like there is in kmail and thunderbird.

How does knode SMTP work? internal SMTP or postfix?

How do I configure this?
