Start up on Mac

Here is a possibility.  There is a great Linux distribution called 
system rescue CD (www.sysresccd.org).  It is a live CD with lots with 
utility programs on it including a few partitioning programs.  I believe 
that you can change which partition it considered the boot up partition 
using those.
