Hallo!

The problem I have with Kubuntu 5.10 (upgraded from hoary) in my laptop (Benq
JB7000) is that the AC nor battery events do not run (of course when plugging
or unpluggin the laptop to/from AC).

They're supposed to run the same script, /etc/acpi/power.sh, and it works as
expected if run manually in both ac and battery.

Acpid is running (but I'm not sure it's the one who should do the job).

Last information I can give you to help me find this is the log output from
acpid:
Unplugging the laptop (from ac to battery):
-----
[Sat Oct 15 00:23:09 2005] received event "processor CPU0 00000080 00000000"
[Sat Oct 15 00:23:09 2005] notifying client 5039[111:111]
[Sat Oct 15 00:23:09 2005] completed event "processor CPU0 00000080 00000000"
-----
Plugging the laptop to AC:
-----
[Sat Oct 15 00:27:24 2005] received event "processor CPU0 00000080 00000000"
[Sat Oct 15 00:27:24 2005] notifying client 5039[111:111]
[Sat Oct 15 00:27:24 2005] completed event "processor CPU0 00000080 00000000"
-----

Any idea?? 8-?

TIA ;)
