I did a comparison of KOffice when it was at 1.4, and although much
faster than OpenOffice, it had problems with some features in the
documents I was editing; so I stuck with OpenOffice for the time being.
However, as KOffice 1.4.2 is just out today, I will probably try this
as it's had lots of bug- and compatibility-fixes that should improve
things a lot. It's just _so_ much faster, even on my relatively fast
machine. Looks like packages are now available for both Ubuntu and
SuSE, so will install them shortly.......
