Problems starting KDE and Gnome after Installing Kubuntu from Ubuntu

Hi everyone. I need some help. And I am a true newby, so full details will
be necessary. I have installed kubuntu-dektop using apt-get from ubuntu.
After restart, neither KDE or Gnome will start. I am asked for login, but
after that it returns to the login again. It showed me in one of the
attempts a series of error messages, but I couldn´t get them... Some ideas
of what I can do? (maybe edit a couple of files? -something I haven´t done
yet -and less in text mode...)
