Question about the version in the repositories

 I have a question about how is working the version in the repositories.
    Well, I'm trying to intall KDE 3.5 RC 1, and it is never show in Adept 
    thoug I have include the repositori that they say:
        * /deb http://kubuntu.org/packages/kde35rc1 breezy main/
    Each time that I look for kde, I only can see this version kde 5:44 
    ubuntu. How can I solve this? Other missmatch that I found is with the 
    Kate editor. Adept says that I have installed kate 4:3.4.3 Oubuntu6, in 
    in the About menu in kate the version is kate 2.4.1.
    Please, that anybody explain me how is working the version here in kubuntu.
