Apparently he has been posting about his troubles with the AIF files in
several different messages, thus creating a new thread every time.
Not very easy to follow, isn't it? ;-)

Here are the subjects and dates :

1) Why is my voice so squeaky? - AIF files on Ubuntu 5.10

I cannot offer more help than this except if adding to Derek's post by
saying that a) reporting a bug, no matter how good or bad it is
will not produce an immediate response and b) if you could manage
your problems on a single thread per issue, it would be more easy to
follow them and eventually help.
