radio and problems with the mplayer plugin

i am wondering if any aplication that came with KDE allow me to play any 
radio station and how. also I am having problems with the mplayer plug 
in whem I go to movies.com and try to watch a movie clip I use the 
windows media player and then I can hear the clip, but cannot see it. 
maybe someone had the same proble. I must say I am just about to have 
averything working.
