scanner Benq 3300U problems

Hi there,

I have a rather weird situation.

I try to connect a Benq 3300U scanner and when I start kooka I do get a 
message:

snapscan:libusb:001:003 Acer FlatbedScanner22

but then the application displays the notification that "No scanner was found"

Now, with Xsane I get the following:

Failed to open device `snapscan:libusb:001:003': Invalid argument

Any help on that?
