about Kcontrol problems

Hi,

I am new to the list and new to Ubutu (I used Suse for a short time  
and shifted and I have found ubuntu realiable, and very stable i a  
Samsung laptop (well, just a little problem with battery management).

I am not very experienced with Linux but I typed from a terminal  
window "sudo kcontrol" and everything worked fine. It's a little bit  
annoying but it works for me.
