Could you please use the script mentioned in:
http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=114143&postcount=11

Note that after globally enlarging the fonts, which affects *all* fonts
including KDE, you may need to shrink the font sizes a bit in KDE. I'd
like to learn how it worked for you.
