I want to install nvidia driver into kernel 2.6.10-i686-smp.
What I'd done was:
1) I download NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-7174-pkg1.run
2) I execute that, who hadn't find driver for i686-smp and compile a
3) I change xorg.conf to use nvidia instead of nv
Result, I can work with X, but when I try to use any GL graphics they
give me segmentation fault.
What I can do more to put work this driver ?
I need smp because I have P4 HT and I think that smp is more
performante than simple kernel.
