JAVA JRE 1.4 & 5 wont work. It crashes firefox...

Right, 

I log in as SU

I go to:

/usr/lib/mozilla-firefox/plugins/

then i go:

ln -s /usr/java/j2re1.4.2_08/plugin/i386/ns610-gcc32/libjavaplugin_oji.so

Then i test it:

www.lakecards.com

As soon as you type the URL firefox disappears 'FLASH!'

Im not sure why. This always works in mandrake/fedora/suse...? 

How do you do it? Thanks for your help.
