It seems there is active work on the associated KDE bug reports but no "fix
released" yet. Perhaps we need to raise this issue on the KDE-Distributions
list and see how many other distros are also experiencing this bug. When I
encounter it, it is *really* annoying.

Looks like this dependency just needs to be added and the package rebuilt.

openSUSE developer.

So again, including the proper patch in there and rebuilding would fix this
in my humble not-a-packager opinion.
